So during the middle of our firewire motherboard G5 crash and our project I/O, I decided to bring my old mBox1 out of the closet for little projects and ideas. I tried the mbox with the ASIO 6.1.1 driver and the first time the box knew it was hooked up via USB green light. Afer restart and a bunch of reboots, it's no longer an option though my ASIO driver screen says the device exists. Who has an MBox 1 still running off of XP and how? Steinberg AI is what my platform ie because it was free and I don't do crap for editing. Also if anyone has insight into why Project I/O and a G5 are having FW issues, I wouldn't mind some help.
