Did you ever get yourself an Artcore?

I played one of these today, and although it wasn't my style (too wide body, and couldn't reach above the 12 fret easily), I was duly impressed by the tone and the playability, even though the strings weren't exactly slinky.

No, I've got an Epi Sorrento on long term loan. It's a lot like a Casino (P90s, trapeze0 but single cutaway. I've got wound G set of nickel Snake Oil Brand Strings on it. Looking forward to putting a song together with it soon.
