Yes, he was a paratrooper. He pretended to pack fudge to get the boot. It worked. Before he joined he was a believer in war - but he became disillusioned - realized it was a crock of shit - and bailed.

Did you know Hendrix was actually a fabrication of corporate labels & session players? In fact, the REAL Jimi Hendrix was a telephone salesman in Baton Rouge. He was Milli Vanilli before Rob & that other guy did it. In fact, the guitarist who actually played on record posing as "Jimi" was named "Millie Vanilla".
