Help setting up KP3 as external effect

Hello again all...I figure I will not be the only one with this problem as the KP3 is a hot item it seems....

So I am running Cubase 5 with a lexicon lambda interface and the intention is to hook up a Kaoss pad 3 as an external effects unit to route music through.

-I have experimented, hooking the KP3 to the 1/4 insert on the interface. But I am confused as I am not sure how to hook up the KP3's in out situation. KP3 has stereo line in/out and the insert on the interface is, as said, a 1/4 in. Any help would be appreciated.
 
I've had the same problem with my KP3. I use Reason and a Behringer mixer (Xenyx 1002B). I tried using the effects send of the mixer, but couldn't get it to work the way I wanted to. I had a stereo 1/4" jack to 2 RCA cable connected between the KP3 and the Effects send socket. But with some of the effects I would only get results one the right speaker. I don't know if it's because I should have used a mono 1/4" jack or if it's something different, but I never took the trouble to find out.

I now have one of my outputs of my interface from reason routed directly into the KP3. I can get away with it because I only make electronic music and all the sound comes from inside the box.
 
Well I was under the impression that an insert on an interface could do the trick but most inserts go 1/4 to dual trs which the KP has no use for...Its in and out are both line so a cable that is 1/4 in on one end and has ??? line in/out (4???) in order to create a send receive like most other inserts. Lets keep brainstorming so this will get attention :).
