Hey guys.. first of all.. im a bit of a newb at recording.. but ive lernt alot in the last 6 months or so..... heres the deal!
i own a br-1200cd.. and its time to record sum drums... but it only has 2 inputs.... i have 8 mono tracks and 2 stereo tracks to use...
im preppared to hire mixers and mics so thats no worries... the worry is how do i approach it???
do i try to get the drummer to play several perfect takes only recording 2 mono tracks at a time? hire a mixer.. put the kick and toms together.. snare and cymbols together.. and make 1 stereo track?? record 2 stereo tracks???
Quality doesnt have to be perfect... but it has to be reasonable.. any advice is much appreciated!
