help needed

Hey,
I was just thinking I should post few of my songs here to get an overall idea where I am standing and would take ANY critique and helpful thoughts! Haven't really got any feedback at all so far..

Ok, here's they are..
bytheway, I'm from a small European country, Estonia. That's why I have this wicked weird accent.



(dont bother to try to figure out the language, I came up with all the words... not a real language)

Just anything would be helpful...
 
I'm Standing still:
Your guitars sound boomy and not very bright. What mic/position did you use?

Guitars are less boomy, but not bright either. Get their volume up more and compression would help aswell.
 
Yea, i see what you mean.
I was just using a AKG dynamic, positioned by the bridge.
 
do you think I can 'repair' that recording by just re-equalizing it?
 
Re do the gutiar parts. Use a stereo pair technique maybe, or if not point the mic somewhere else towards the guitar. Close mic if you dont have that great a mic or room acoustics. The vocals sound good.
