Help installing pick ups

I just recently bought a tony iommi pick up for my gibson les paul standard.
I am having trouble finding detailed directions on how to install them. Can anyone out there help me. I would prefer to do it on my own so if you could explain in layman's terms I would appreciate it. I do not have any experience with this at all. Would like to learn this part of the guitar instead of paying someone else. I know I can screw up the pick up if I install it wrong which is why I am asking for some advice instead of just digging around.

Here is a set of instructions for another brand. Maybe you can check your brand's website.

It's not hard. If the pickup your replacing has the same number and color of wires at the end where it's soldered just copy the installation.

It's very difficult to damage a pickup by incorrect wiring. The wiring can be damaged by rough handling so be careful not to nick it.
