I'm trying to record some keyboard stuff onto my computer but I'm not having much luck. I'm using sound forge and when I play the keyboard I see the moniters respond when I record what I'm playing. But When I go to play it back I have to crank the sound up to hear anything (witch sounds like sheet). So can anyone help me out.

-I have a sound blaster card
-I have the keyboard plugged into the mic input on the sound card
-I am using win2k

Please help

I've tried pluggin it into another line but I don't get any response out of the moniters. Just the mic line gives me response on the moniter

All lines are good. Anyone familer with sound forge could I not have it set up right. It records on the mic line but you can hardly hear it

yep - I'm using sound forge and have never had trouble with it. If u use your line input, check your mixer settings, maybe you can turn it up before it hits sound forge - just an idea, I'm not using soundblaster myself, but you've gotta have some sort of volume slider for what you send from the input to internal sources
 bizz
