hey guys, a little halloween tune if you feel like checking it out.. I tried some new recording things, but I would rather wait to say what they are until I find out if it sounds good.. There are some solos that where one take, so I left them even though I plan on redoing them.. rip em' anyway! I'm curious to see if this sounds better.. There is no singing.. I think it might be better as an instrumental.. any thoughts are always cool..

I would totally dig downloading this and playing it while I'm handing out candy to the kids ... it is very eerriieee!

Very cool little instrumental you have here. Very SCARY! Kind of reminds me of a horror movie theme, but, luckily, it still has your touch to it...very original and creative!

I think the best word is Eerie. Nice work. The guitar playing particularly impressed me. Sounds so damn professional.

Are you using a digital soundcard on your computer when you mixdown or are you mixing down analog?I think I might have asked you this before but I dont think you ever got to answering it.:eek:

I love the orchestration you put together. Very cool sir. Is that wammy pedel or good ol' wammy bar you use on the guitar? The only gig I cccould possibly give you is on the top and tail. The abrupt start and stop. That could be due to the MP3 encoding possibly. Good job my friend.

This year Im gonna set my monitors up in the window, set my pitch changer way down, and hurl out Halloween obscenities in my best "Pin-head" voice w/ a little excorcist thrown in for good measure.....
You know,............little kid comes up to the door accompanied by his mother...... "WELCOME TO THE BOWELS OF HELL YOU LITTLE MAGGOT..... NOW TURN AROUND AND TAKE YOUR SLUT MOTHER WITH YOU!" Good effort as a background music sort of way. But if you want this to become a "proper" song, you might want to consider some vocals or spoken parts. I think you could fit some spooky Vincent Price spoken stuff somewhere there in the first two minutes. You know, like Michael Jackson's Thriller type of Vincent Price-stuff :D I loved the solos, eerie...

And NO, you don't post too much. If you were putting out crap, then I'd say you post too much, but you just don't do that. There's so much quality stuff from you that I can't get enough of it.

Ya man! This is the sort of thing I wanted to do for my Halloween party. Love the harmonic dives- perfect! There's some lead stuff that reminds me of Vai believe it or not. This is not a bad thing at all. Can ya bring that snare up a bit?
Now are those sounds straight out of the Roland, or something you did with guitars or what? Very cool whatever it is.

Dude, you and I ought to do what I was thinking of doing myself a few weeks ago. I'll PM you about it, lest one of these wolves steal the idea....

And knock it off with the should-I-just-leave shit. I realize we're all musicians here, but must we be sooo sensitive all the time? :D
 
Oh Yeah sammy!

Someone hold me. There are monsters under my bed. I can smell the putrifaction of their once living organs. They have been reanimated by the presence of an evil more insidious, more wicked, cruel, and heartless than has ever been witnessed by one who draws breath. It's dark in here and my frantically groping fingers can't find the light switch. The bed begins to rattle and pitch. I begin to know real terror as I gasp for every breath as the air becomes heavier and heavier until it is actually visible. But it is a color that I don't recognize. In fact, at that moment, nothing is familiar. I know nothing but fear and the now violent slamming of the bed. The room is starting to spin faster and faster, and I suddenly realize that it's so cold, I can see my breath as it spirals downward into a vortex thats pulling at me, sucking me in with such an incredible force that all I can do is keep my body rigid, taut as a drum, and fists clenching handfulls of the now damp sheets to brace against the aparently iminent collision that will surely separate my soul from its earthly anchor.
