I much prefer analog everything - but I am very impressed with this software. The GUI is as fantastic as the amp replication. It very closely matched my '79 Fender Twin reverb tube glory. It's up to how much of a recording purist you are and how much money you want to spend.

If you cant crank an amp and mic it go with Guitar rig or Amplitube.
