Gadget Labs 8/24 Interface -- Any Good ?

Hey,
Just found an interface as titled. I know that there hard to find out about and you can download the drivers but has anyone else got one and is it anygood ?
Also is it compatible with all the usual software like Cubase,Reaper,Pro tools, etc?

Cheers, from scanning that it seems like it was a pretty good interface for its time.
As long as its compatible with todays software its all ok really.
 
I had one for quite a while and it did a good job. But I got rid of it cause there where not any drivers at the time to support it for any thing above windows 98.
For the time they where a lot like the rest of the recording cards. Some people had good luck with them and some people didnt.
I would spend a few extra bucks and get a newer modern card from someone like maudio and maybe save yourself the potential for alot of grief.
 
Yeh, i have discovered that you can download drivers now for XP and there is a dedicated forum for them so if i got stuck i could probably get some help.
Anyway, Its at around 30GBP at the moment on ebay which sounds good to me so i will see how the price pans out and if it stays cheap i may go for it and hope for the best, if not try and sell it again.
 
I had one for years and it was a good interface.
It developed some probs and of course the afore mentioned issue of no support.
