FEEDBACK on my first 3 recorded songs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yoo Yo I am twiddling around with my BOSS 1600 before we go into the studio. We are gonna use this demo to give to bars and such around town so I am doing my best to make sure it sounds damn good. I did 3 songs so far and am looking for feedback on the mix, individual instruments, music, etc. My feelings dont get hurt soooo bring it. -RuZZ

Hi - listened to the "evil woman" track. Feedback? Great , tight playing. And, this kind of presentation, I feel, does not stand out for the following reasons: 1) For the men, they know how to do all the techno stuff (riffs, drums, gear, lights...) but reach a HARD WALL when it comes to digging deep for bright, creative and emotionally vulnerable, risky material. The arrangement, chord choices,etc., in my view, is way too formula, predictable. The vocals don't stand out until the end; and the soloing is "fast" but not innovative. Cool, nasty sound, great drums - but in the end, gets lost in the billions of songs with this under-the-radar, unremarkable showing. Hope that helps?
