live it- learn it - love it!
Yeah.It has presets or you can control the parameters yourself.Processing is 32 bit internal so sound quality is good.

I like it so far. I've used it to apply both heavy and light compression. It really boosts the signal so you need to decrease the output. It includes a noise gate which is also helpful...
On the unregistered version, it will automatically cut out on you every 10 seconds until you pay for it.
Kinda like a hooker in that way-She'll give you a quick look but you have to pay for it if you really want it.
Stay with the Blue Compressor if you don't plan on purchasing it.
I couldn't tell much difference in the quality.

Thanks man. I've been happy with the "Blue" so far but I've heard others saying good things about the fasoft. I may buy in the future but it's Christmas and my money is going other places. By the way, Merry Christmas everybody!
Does the threshold correspond to the input meter? ie - if I don't see the input meter peaking above -7db and set the threshold to -6db, will no compression occur?
Also, I wish the compressor didn't have a built in gain - it makes it harder to evaluate how its affecting the sound since every time you engage it you get a big amplitude jump.
Look up "digilogue" I tried to get the url but I'm not sure. I think its a German company and the Blue Line DirectX is a shareware package with several useful plugs. I use them. They seem to be pretty good.
thanks. i did a search for it and found it. i thought it was crippled shareware but i read that it was fully functional, the author just wants donations.
