Any Layla24 owners in here? I was looking at the Digidesign Digi 001 'till I saw that sassy silver puppy! How would yo'all rate the product?

Only buy the Digi 001 if you are using pro tools.
If you are not using pro tools, do not get the Digi 001.
If you are not using pro tools, do not get the Digi 001.

I realize that. I like the high sampling rates of the Layla24, but also like the fact I'd be learning something close to industry-standard software with Pro Tools LE...

i am looking to upgrade from my maudio delta 44 to an 8 channel unit and the layla seems to be pretty interesting.
anyone have experience with it?
as far as i can tell, the other ones (for macs) in the round $600 are
