E-MU 1212m

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I've been trying to do some "live recording" of my friends Jam Band. I am currently running a E-mu 1212m Sound card with Cubase and/or Cakewalk Homestudio on my PC. I use a Mackie 10 channel mixing board to run the mikes through.

My problem is not being able to adjust individual inputs when they reach my PC. All the initial mixing is done on the Mackie and then I can do no more; i/e run the lead guitar through a bit of reverb.

I am wondering if the E-mu 1212m External Docking bay would be my best bet here. Does anyone have any experience with Emu's 1212m system?

I would appreciate any insight on the matter.

I clicked on the site but don't see the add on option? It does have 8 ch ADAT digi i/o if adding a multi ch converter is an option.

I originally bought a 1212m, but soon after decided to turn it into an 1820m by adding the Audiodock to it.
They discontinued the models, but maybe you can add a 1616m dock to it. I'd ask customer support. Or look for a dock on ebay...?
