Drums!!

Hi All,

I finally have the basics of my first track down. But I want to add some drums. I'm not a fan of the preset drum loops built into the HD8 as I can't seem to be able to actually create my own drum phrases.

I.e: I want to be able to program a drum pattern for say bars 1 - 8, then a seperate fill for 8 - 10, etc etc.

Can you recomend a program that might work alongside Cubase that I could use to do this? Or, what do you guys to for drum patterns?

I've always used Fruity Loops. They just came out with ver. 8, it might take a little bit of time to get use to but after you learn it, it can be a very powerful friend. You can get the advanced version for around $500, or the simple version for $84. Just google around. Good thing about FL, you only have to buy it once....from then on, you get free updates for life!

If you have a sequencer and a decent sample library, Groove Monkee has awesome loops for a very reasonable price. lots of options there.
