I am just getting set up with a little studio and have n-track installed and plan to record a little with an Oldies band. I am still in the planning and equipment gathering mode. One thing that I need advice on is some type of mixing console so that I can send individual mic's to individual tracks at once. Drums are an example: I would like to mic several drums at once so I have the option of mixing volume and effects to my desire after ther recording is complete. Has anyone used a mixer with n-track and had good success? I am trying to keep my cost down as most people on this site are. Your help would be appreciated.
