Different Tom Mics

I was wondering if using different tom mics would cause any kind of a noticeable problem in sound..

The reason I ask is, I wanted to use two Pro25 mics on my low toms and then Sennheiser e609s on the higher because I have read that those mics are more suitable for the certain frequencies of the toms..

It would not cause a problem at all unless you chose a bad mic. Your toms are different, why not your mics? pre's? etc...

Thanks for the help, I'm sure it came off as a dumb question... But my mind likes to come up with the worst case scenario at all times!

It's pretty normal to treat the floor toms differently from the rack toms.
