What are the differences between these two units? I would cruise over to the Line 6 site, but I can't access it for some reason. I guess it's down.

For starters, the Vetta is a modeling *amplifier* and the Pod XT is a modeler with no built-in amplification.

As far as the modeling differences between the two, you'll have to research the Line 6 site. It seems to be up now.

That much I know. I have a Vetta II currently. Looking to clear up some space by getting the POD XT Pro...but only if it's comparable.

idbelieve it would be. youd jkust need a rackmount poweramp for your stack or whatever you have.

I don't need a poweramp. I only use it for recording.

the pod xt and xt rack are minus a few features the vetta has. one that i know of is being able to run 2 different amp sims at once. i think...

Yes, that's one of the features of the Vetta that the XT Pro doesn't have.

I'm still on the ropes about it. The site came back up so I'll stew over it...probably eternally.
