So im trying to input from a Fostex FD8 Digital multitracker into my Delta 66 soundcard through SPDIF... I cannot get any sound. The out on the Fostex is Stereo RCA... does that make a difference? I beleive all of my settings are correct on my computer.
those RCA jacks are analog out...if you go out of those, youll have to go into the Delta 66's analog 1/4" inputs...i think the FD8 has optical S/PDIF outs so in order to go into the S/PDIF input of the Delta, you would need a converter...... http://www.8thstreet.com/product.asp?ProductCode=11682&Category=Audio_Interfaces
