i have the mobilepre usb sound card from M-Audio with phantom power connected to my dell inspiron 6000 laptop. i have used it for some time now and have had no problem...but recently i can't get audio to play without constant cracks and pops, almost like burts of audio for a split second
when i plug my speakers directly to my laptop, things are fine, but when i plug up my soundcard to the usb port of it, i get the issue on ALL types of audio, not just music
i'm running XP...any ideas?
