Cover song

This is my latest attempt. It's a cover song, i know. It more or less started with me tracking and trying to get a sound I liked for distortion, especially palm mutes. what better way than a classic metallica song, right? From there, I figured, what the hell, let me me throw in some bass and drums and see what I got for a mix. How does it sound?

Sounds pretty decent...the guitars are a bit bright, and could use more mids, but not bad at all....pretty good job on this.

Wait, is anything in this song real? It sounds like a MIDI-fest. What the hell is up with the drums and guitars?

Thanks for the replies. I used a sequencer with drum samples. The rest is real.
