Celestion BG8-60 ?

Heyo.

My bassist just picked up an SWR Henry the 8X8 bass cab. He got it for $100 and it's got a few blown speakers. I pulled one out and it's a Celestion BG8-60. I tried to find some information on it and found nothing. Does anyone know of somewhere I can find these speakers or an equivalent?

Celestion doesn't have them listed on their site anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The cab is a 4 ohm cab... does that mean that all the speakers in it are 4 ohm too?

If so.. would I be able to get away with just buying 4 ohm speakers that handle 60+ watts? I'm assuming from the model number that they handle 60 watts.

Also, does anyone have any idea of how those cheap speakers are going to sound?

How many speakers were in the cab,... and how were they wired,....

the above determines how many ohms each one is...

you can start with 4,8, or 16 ohm speakers, and end up with a 4 ohm load depending on how many, and how they are wired,....


need more info....
