I was referring to what I usually hear wich is stuff like "you can't make them do tricks" etc etc. It's easy enough to train a cat not to do stuff that immensly pisses you off though.

Right you are. Cats don't train like dogs, but they do understand when you are pissed. It's training them not to do the stuff that pisses you off in the first place that's the hard part.
