BR-1200, can't export to my new computer.

Well I finally joined the human race and updated form XP. I used my BR-1200 for years with my old XP Pro, no problems.

I got a pretty nice 32 bit Windows 7. I can import music files, but not export. Each time I try, it seems to get down to the last 5 seconds, stay there for a while, and then I get a message that the file is no longer there.
And...when I try and safely remove my device from the computer...it shows safely removed on the computer, but the BR-1200 is frozen, as if waiting for me to disconnect.
Help?
And I will need instructions for people who are not so smart.

How are you doing the exporting? With my old Boss recorder, I just put it into USB mode, and dragged and dropped.
