There is one on ebay right now that some of you might want to go after. I know Harvey likes it, as do myself and chess...
By the way, Harvey, what are you current thoughts on this mic?
I like it so far, but I havent had much chance to do anything with it, as I am addicted to my Sennheiser 441 on just about everything. Wonder if the Beyer would do well on guitar cabs?

Heads up...

I still love it and consider it to be one of the great mics for recording rock and roll screamers. It's like a super SM58. The 441 is a great mic, so I understand why you would prefer it for most things.

I use the Soundstar primarily for scratch vocals because it's virtually indestructable, and it often winds up being the perfect track for the final mix.

I paid $60 for mine, which was a good deal methinks. Not as good as YOUR deal, Harvey. :) Have you tried it on anything other than vocals?
Anyone here gonna bid on that one on ebay? THey are pretty rare.
On another note, Sennheiser 441's have been going for $300 all over ebay for a few weeks now. Very much worth checking out. I bought 2 Md-504's for $120 this week. Not bad.
