So I've got pretty much my ideal bass rig set up, now I want to start looking for my ideal guitar amp. Right now I'm using a sovtek mig-100 through a peavey 4x10 bass cab. It works, but it could be much better. I'm borrowing a friends blackface bassman right now which sounds great.

Basically what I want is this: vintage fender tone (of course), the reverb and vibrato of a twin reverb, and the drive of a hot rod deluxe. Are there any amps out there I don't know about that fit this? I'd like to avoid the "cyber-twins" and stay vintage if possible, just because I'd rather play my guitar through an amp, not a computer.

I'm a fender fan, if you couldn't tell, but I'm open to other suggestions.

If you like the tone of the Bassman, try looking for a silverface Bandmaster Reverb head. It doesn't have the drive circuit of a Hot Rod, though.

I think a dual professional covers all those territories, but they're hard to find and not cheap when you find them. I played one one time, and it was a great amp. I'm just trying to remember if it had vibrato. I think it did, but I'm not sure.
