It's a bright mic. It can be a little sibilant . . . maybe even harsh if you're not careful. Overall, though, it's not a bad mic at all if bright is what you like. The price is outstanding for what you get -- even if you don't like the mic. Comes with a pretty nice carrying case, shockmount and pop filter.

any good recording acoustics, guitar, fiddle, mando on a small scale? It seems like a bright mic would work for a guitar with a lot of bottom end. I'm looking for a mic in this price range. Been using 57s. Got a 603s but it picks up to much room.
