I'm sure the KSM32 is better than the AT4033 so no need to tell me that but I'd like to know your opinions on what's better between the KSM27 and the AT4033....

This mic will be used solely for recording male vocals... I'm leaning towards the KSM27.

I can buy the AT4033 for around $200-220...
And the Shure KSM27 for around $220-240...

Good choice, I own both the KSM32 and AT4033. In fact, oddly enough I bought each of those mics from a drug seizure auction for $100 each.

I haven't used the 4033 in a while, but I remember liking it. I used the ksm27 on acoustic guitar the other night, and it did very well. It wasn't quite as good as my schoeps cmc6 in that application, but I think it is going to turn out to be a very versatile mic. Very crisp and clear on the details of the acoustic.
