i don't have a tube mic, but i used a Sony C-37a on an album and completely fell in love with the sound of that mic.
i've only seen them on ebay and other sites rarely, and they're quite expensive.
i've been reading about the AT4060. it gets great reviews, and my experience with other AT mics like the 4033 has been good.
will the 4060 have the same qualities in a tube mic that the C-37a had? has anyone used one yet?
