Anyone used Neumann KM74 or KM75?

Just seen some for sale and wanted to know if they are renowned for any particular purpose and how they compare to other Neumanns such as the 64, 84 and 85?

What do they usually sell for? Are they rare?

There is also a KM85. They are all around the same price, which would be the better one?

I haven't used any of these "vintage" mics (except their current model KSM-184), but I think you could get any of the 50/60 and 80 series mics for $800 or so in the US, and a little cheaper in Europe. The price depends a bit on the polar pattern. The 70 series is cheaper (around 500 buxx or so). Check out Ebay, there are a few on sale right now. A good store in the UK to get Neumanns for a reasonable price is www.studiocare.com
