I know (think) that Sound King mics are off-the-shelf Chinese units, but the specs and prices still seem good. Has anyone used them (don't be affraid to admit it)?
We tend to look down our noses at the idea of off-the-shelf Chinese and Russian micx, but just because they are off-the-shelf doesn't necessarily make them crap right? I mean if they were total crap, surely they would remain on the shelf and not be 'aquired' by so many re-badgers?
Anyone used any of there mics? What about the SKEA 002W (FET)or SKEB 001W (tube) in particular? They have better specified (quieter) mics on their website than these now, but they have been around a while so I thought some may have used them?
