I've gotten a few handmedowns for my basement run studio, including 4 AKG SE300B condensor microphones. they aren't mine to keep, but nonetheless, they're at my disposal to use as i see fit. i've read about these, and tested, and i get the feeling that they have a lot of high end, and dish out a pretty bright sound. i'm guessing they'd best be used for micing cymbals on a drum kit, or overhead, but i guess i don't really know for sure. i wanna be able to utilize the quality of these microphones, they go for 200 bucks or so a piece. any info about these? thanks!
