AKG - electrovoice

I've got these two mics:
AKG D80
ElectroVoice MC100
Are they any good?
In which way should I use them? (voice, ambience, drums...)

Try them out on a track or two... if they give you the sound you're looking for, then they're good (in that particular context...!)
