The Anti-Lambo
You are finished around the world.

Allies no longer can rely on you let alone trust you. So they will form new alliances between themselves.

Your enemies see you as weak and that is dangerous because you will be open to attack more easily.

We watched you destroy a man who although eccentric put his country and people first to elect a dodgy group of woke warrior fanatics led by a man who by your own words is not mentally capable.

Then at first chance he proves you all right and not only dumps on what America stands for, but he also dumps on his allies also.

The U.K. or Canada or France or Germany etc. are free to take over Afghanistan. It's certainly within their military capacity. But you won't, will you? Somehow you think American lives are cheaper to expend than your own.

But I suppose hypocritically bitching from the sidelines, as if you weren't part of the coalition, is more emotionally satisfying.

The US never pledged to stay in Afghanistan forever. Our support was always time-limited. The mistake was letting it go this long.

The allies learned not to trust America when Trump shat all over NATO commitments, repeatedly sided with Russian intelligence over allied intelligence, and pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal among several other international commitments. 7 people from Trump's inner circle committed lying felonies associated with hiding their contacts with Russia. No ally could trust him. His own wives couldn't trust him. That's why Trump's international approval rating in allied countries was rock bottom - roughly 15% compared with 65-75% for Biden.

Trump didn't have the balls to do anything about Afghanistan and so he swept the problem under the rug and kicked the can down the road for the next administration to handle - because Trump is a pussy ass narcissist bitch more worried about his own image than committing our troops to die for a pointless cause. That's why America fired him. Biden pledged to leave Afghanistan during the campaign and before the election. Biden won. Promises kept.

Trump again???? Nobody mentioned him. You have him on your brain. He has nothing to do with any of this.

The only reason the 'allies' went to Afghanistan was because America went in 20 years ago because of Twin Towers. Twin towers was in America and not UK or anywhere else. It was really your problem and god knows how anybody else got roped into it.

What Biden has done is totally wrong to what where Americas allies but also to the Afghans who helped to win 'your' war. But just think what this tells your enemies.

If America wasn't ruining other countries, economies, and lives, no one would be laughing from sidelines when the Americans run away leaving behind their humvees. And you are "hypocritically bitching" about Trump and Russia to cover up that shame. Russia is far away mate, you must keep Biden in check, not Russia. :ROFLMAO:

You mad bro? Russia Russia Russia! :laughings:

How does it feel? You voted for the elder abuse of placing a senile old man at the head of the government and commander in chief of the most powerful country in the world. A man of low achievement and intellect, a known plagiarist who graduated 76th in a class of 85 at university. A man who on his best day in government over roughly the past 50 years has been known by his peers to be an incompetent idiot of low moral fiber and conviction.

The mistake was staying in Afghanistan this long? Your boy Barrack Obama was in office for two terms, 8 years, from 2008 - 2016, sitting as commander in chief longer than any president during our time in Afghanistan. Surely if we're going to discuss kicking the can down the road Obama should be included in that discussion?

Trump's inner circle had contacts with Russia? During Trump's entire time sitting as president, and to include time before and after being elected and serving, for political motivations ONLY monumental efforts were made to find dirt on Trump. Your beloved and thoroughly corrupt government and political operatives in the media found nothing worth a hill of fucking beans. In contrast strong evidence supports Joe Biden through his crackhead son and other family members foreign involvement to include Russia, Ukraine, and China, personally enriching themselves by using the power that comes with Joe Biden's involvement in governmental levers of power.

But neither Obama or Trump are President, or are responsible for the cluster fuck of a withdrawal we are seeing in Afghanistan. God help us, your boy Joe Biden is President. Any mention of Trump at this point in time is a shameful deflection from a partisan hack. There is a right way to handle things, or to "keep promises", and a wrong way. So I take it with your praise for "promises kept", you approve of Biden's thus far handling of a withdrawal from Afghanistan? It seems to me you would be quite isolated in the minority opinion. Our allies are publically criticizing and condemning Biden's handling of the situation, even going so far as characterizing it as "imbecilic". Saying they can no longer rely on the US as an ally. Allies and those who depend on the US to counter aggression on the world stage are quaking in their boots, and our enemies are emboldened and laughing at the ineptness, incompetence, and impotence of the current administration. There are thousands of US citizens currently trapped behind barbarous Taliban lines in Afghanistan, being told by our own government to make their own way to the airport, while at the same time also being told to shelter in place. There is no rational plan in place. No doubt a fly on the wall would reveal the Biden administration begging the fucking Taliban to pretty please allow our citizens safe passage to the airport. Word is there are negotiations currently being conducted for the fucking Taliban, and Al Qaida, and Isis, to allow an extension to the final withdrawal in approximately one week....pretty fucking please.

You voted for it, you praise it, you fucking own it. The stage is being set for US hostages, possible executions and beheadings, and/or the airport to be attacked and overrun. One rocket fired into the airport by the fucking Taliban, what then?

Take your Trump derangement nonsense and move on, if that is all you have to offer. Adults are talking here.

Trump negotiated the terms of America leaving Afghanistan directly with the Taliban, and left the Afghan Government entirely out of the discusion.

It boggles the mind that anyone could think the Presdent who presided over this for the past 4 years could be irrelevant.

Well that was 18+ months ago and as a result they didnt kill an American or allied soldier. But that has nothing to do with what Biden did. He left the allies in the dark of his decision with other nations and Americans stranded there. Only because of the grace of the Taliban are they still alive who gave most of them safe passage. But they have said today none of this will be extended past the deadline.

China is ready to walk in and deal with the Taliban and make deals for their natural resources with America and allies completely excluded. So what did all those brave people die for?

Again, Trump is no longer President. Trump did not preside over the way the current withdrawal is being conducted. Upon taking office Biden set about dismantling every policy of the Trump presidency. Now the Biden administration and you are going to pretend the withdrawal was something Trump negotiated and was a done deal, it's out of Biden's hands? Seriously? Bullshit, hogwash.

I guarantee you if it was the Trump administration handling the withdrawal the troops would not have been pulled before citizens. Pulling troops before civilians is just...wow, dumbfuckery.

Speaking of negotiations: Our biggest ally the UK was left totally in the dark about the US initiating a withdrawal of troops. For days British Prime Minister Johnson was unable to even get Biden on the phone. Shameful as shit.

You hardly hold the high ground in terms of negotiations. But if you want to talk about negotiations, let's talk about the Biden administrations current negotiations with the Taliban. How many pretty pleases is it going to take to possibly get US citizens out of Afghanistan? How many billions of behind the scenes ransom will be paid? Either way, all of those people will never get out. What is the phrase you used, it will be "swept under the rug"?

Uh huh. You fell for that Republican nonsense meme too, eh? I saw it on Facebook.

Here's why it's false:

Afghanistan was already free to deal with China. The U.S. invasion of Afghanistan came with no strings associated with us having right of first refusal for their natural resources. If Afghanistan is savvy, they will sell to the highest bidder.

You got duped.

Your hero Donald Trump negotiated directly with the Taliban for the Taliban to be in power again. He didn't support the Afghan Government. He didn't even invite them to the discussion over the fate of Afghanistan because the Taliban told Trump they wouldn't participate in the discussions that way.

Donald Trump appeased the Taliban. You apparently didn't know about it. Everyone else did.

China and Russia were already selling weapons to the Taliban during the Trump administration. That too is not new, and has been known by regular folks for years now, although it is apparently news to you:

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-43500299

Ever since Trump negotiated the timeline for US withdrawal directly with the Taliban, the Taliban has been planning their take-over. There is no other plausible outcome.

Graveyard of Empires. Good to be out. Let's hope the dying stayed there.
As much as I would like to agree that it's perhaps best to hope that the dying stays, and ends there, it isn't feasable.
Afghanistan and the Taliban are tribal and always will be. Infighting will be the undoing.

All you have is now
Never discuss politics or religion AND never say never ;)

So Anticleon has a pretty solid opinion of us Mericans that we're a bunch of yellow bellied, sap suckin, back stabbin chickens...He's welcome to his opinion but from where I'm standing it is a pretty ignorant arrogant one from a damn naïve nave. Truth is over 2,200 Americans gave their lives fighting for the Afghans, damn cowards. In the 20 years of BS going on over there America spent over 2.2 Trillion dollars TRYING to help...Well just goes to show you ...no good deed goes unpunished.

In the end Trump, as I think most Americans saw, this was the never ending nightmare and decided that enuff is enuff we gotta pull the plug cause this is going nowhere. When Biden took over the same sentiment carried over..Did his team do the best job of pulling out? Well for sure it seems like it was pretty piss poor planning and surely leaves us Mericans not looking so "special". Easy for us civilians and the liberal media to all sit back and Monday morning quarterback on what they did wrong and it could have been done better. It's REALLY sad what has gone down and is going down...There are many Afghans that helped us that have already been here in the states for years and surely there are many that are coming now...depending on how involved they were....

For sure this pull out was sloppy and based upon a very poorly informed, pie in the sky expected results team.

You sit in Sri Lanka and speak poorly of America? What did you do to help the Afghans? What did your country do? Yeah Nothing but feel free to point that ignorant judgmental finger of yours and talk trash about us... Not cool :wtf:

IBB, you continually pride yourself on the fact that you do not watch cable news. You get your news and information via the internet, solely.
While the U.S. may have not pledged to remain in Afghanistan, Joe Biden was adament about maintaining a presence in Afghanistan in a speech he gave to the Senate Foriegn Relalations committee in 2003.
I did see video of that speech, but damn, you can't find it on YouTube/Google for linking in entirety.
So what has changed to change Biden's thoughts about Afghanistan?
The answer is clear. He doesn't remember what he said 18 years ago, and he certainly doesn't remember what he said last week, or even what he said yesterday.
That's not a critismn.
It's an observation, that even among Democrats, many see his failing.
As the President goes, so goes the integrity of this country.

Donald Trump most certainly recognized that a continued effort in Afghanistan would be fruitless.
And now, the withdrawal is complete chaos.
Millions of Americans are totally disgusted with how everything is being handled...mishandled.

No and it wasn't America's war either. We were asked to help them and we stepped up like we have done so many time sin the past. Sometimes with good results , sometimes failing miserably but we didn't say go screw yourself you're on your own either. . 20 years, trillions of dollars ( which is incompressible for most to even fathom) and over 2200 American lives lost...It's easy to talk shit in the comfort of a chair in front of a computer screen...trying talking that shit to the loved ones who lost their Son's, Daughter, Husbands , Wives, Moms and Dads trying to serve THEIR country as asked...dumb ass ungrateful sniveling twits that act like America had no skin in the game.

America had a lot of skin in the game over the course of the last twenty years.
Just ask the families who lost a son of a daughter in that effort.
Should the U.S. get out of Afghanistan?
Absolutely!
What's important now is that no Americans are left behind to be slaughtered, but with the way Biden is dealing with it, lives will be lost because he is a weak Commander In Chief.
