As you'll see I'm new to this.
I'm a singer/songwriter looking to record acoustic based music (but with other instruments) and I want to record clean, good quality demos.
I use a Tascam DP-01 to cut demos. It's outdated though, and I have problems getting the tracks off the damn thing.
I'd like to have more editing flexibility; ie. drum loops, reverbs, delays, vocal effects and so on.
I don't want to spend a fortune. Is there any way I could record into a digital 8 track and then export the tracks into a software programme for editing???
Or am I way off the mark?
Also, what should I be looking at in terms of a more up-to-date digital multitrack (not too expensive)
Thanks guys
