Action on an acoustic bass guitar

I just picked up an acoustic bass and the action like a 1/2.
Should the action on an acoustec bass be about the same as on an electrec bass or higher?

The action should be set how YOU like it-regardless of what kind of bass it is. I set the action on my acoustic basses the same as on my electric basses. My main acoustic bass is set up identically as main main electric bass (Rickenbacker 4001).............................peace...............Sal
