I have been working hard at home recording for about 5 years now. Started out with regular mics you could buy for 20 dollars from best buy and cool edit. found some good vocal settings and honed my skills and somehow made that sound decent for mixtape songs and things. upgraded to a mxl condenser mic with a mxl preamp and was using adobe audition. still had the sound and quality that was decent but not awesome or anything. now i have a yamaha AW1600 digital recorder and ther same MXL mic, now i have mastered the process of recording songs and im sure ill figure out the editing soon but the one thing i want to know is the tips and things that i may need to produce a good sound on a actual recorded and not the computer because the difference is night and day. Any advice is appreciated. Espically anyone who may have used this recorder
