4 mic method (!)

Can anyone tell me the URL of the thread that explains the 4 mic method (!) - I can't remember who started the thread (drummerdude?) but I remember that it involved having 2 condenser mics 2 sticks length away from the snare.

its a 3 mic setup, but 4 if you add a snare mic as many people suggest. i love regurgitating information.
