Where Was Bobbsy?

Bobbsy

Boring Old Git
Hi all, just to let you know I've not completely disappeared off the face of the earth. Instead, I've just spent a rather un-fun couple of weeks in the heart ward of our local hospital then at a more specialist one down in Brisbane.

I finally got home this afternoon but feel like the stuffing has been kicked out of me--I'm a woolly and lacking in clarity as an SM7B recording!

Anyhow, I should be back annoying you all after a bit of good (i.e. non-hospital) sleep!

So you were doing some location recording?

;)

Get well soon and take take of yourself!

man ..... surgery?

Glad you made it out of that heart ward and hope you get to feeling normal really soon.

Were there any cute nurses??? I'm sure that's the only reason you were visiting the hospital.

Take care of yourself!! :)

Operating table pictures or it didn't happen.

Come on Bob - you'll be fine. Hope you don't see the inside of a hospital again any time soon!

Am I still in your will?

Nope. The Princess Alexandra. I have no complaints at all about the treatment--with the exception of the food which could have made a healthy person feel like they're dying! When I lived in Central London for a bunch of years, my local pub there was the Princess Alexandra so I felt right at home!

I'm on the road to recovery but still get very tired super quickly. I'm being checked every second day and, depending how things go may have one last procedure in about a month.

Thanks for all the nice thoughts!

Yup...a few days after getting home I started to feel breathless and light headed after doing anything--including just sitting up. It got bad enough that my wife called an ambulance at about 1:30AM last Thursday night/Friday morning.

Turned out I managed to have pneumonia on top of everything else.

Anyhow, five more nights in hospital (the local one, not Brisbane this time) with a ton of antibiotics and they decided I was okay to come home again. I still get puffed just walking across the room but this is gradually getting better--I even stood long enough to make a mug of tea a couple of times today!

I'm getting very tired of all this!

well ..... just be glad your pneumonia responded to the antibiotics and you're improving.
I still have many arguments to get into with you over sound things so get well so you can tell me I'm wrong.
:)
