Just thought I would share what I have been live mixing on over the last week, the in house guy has been away so I did all shows. I usually only mix in the small room for Wednesdays and occasionally in the large room for other shows, but from this week all shows are in the large room so at least I will get to use this once a week for my regular Wednesday mix

These knobs, at least, you can just reach and turn.

How do you see the stage with all that above the console? I'm used to having it in a rack to the side.

That was my thought as well. Live mixing, strangely, is highly visual.

Yes, the height is not ideal, lucky I am 6'2" so I can see over the top. The reason they have made it like this is that the whole thing is on wheels because the main room is multi function which has normal music concert set ups, dance where they use the whole room (beautiful wooden dance floor)& weddings where they want the mixer over to the side. So the whole setup can be moved in minutes without re-patching. Personally I would have built it with a side rack (side car) with that and the console mounted on a wheeled base with a lower profile, but I don't own it.

It is still very nice to use.
