Yamaha MG16/6FX, and Beyer Ribbon M260

Yamaha mixer is 2 months old. Perfect condition. Just got a different board (again). Beyer M260 is not in perfect condition. Little dented on the grill, and lacking some low end IMO. May be time for a ribbon replacement.


Im looking for $290.00 for the Yamaha mixer and $175.00 for the Beyer. NL5 can vouch for me, that I do good deals. He just bought my Rumour last week. I have a 149 positives on Ebay. Paypal only sale.

Just to chime in and help out, that really is a badass mixer for that price.
 
How severely would the low end problem affect it's use for vocals?
Would it only come into play with, say, recording bass guitar? A baritone vocalist? An alto?
Would it's loss of low end help eliminate ambient noise in a less than perfect room? (As well as the narrow polar pattern?)
Are these painfully stupid questions?
