This thing is very clean. I have only used it in my smoke free studio since I purchased it. Records and Plays fine, everything functions properly. Only flaw is a few of the small led's dont light up on the level meters. This does not affect the function of the recorder, and you can still read the levels on all channels. One modification I made was changing the original outlet plug to an industrial grade plug. Unit comes with take up reel.
