Weber JTM45 Clone Build

My 'last' build of interest.

Bought a Weber JTM45 kit for my son and I to build as a project. Very good price and quality.

Unfortunately I ordered 'black leather' cabinet. Turned out to be 'tooled' leather. You will laugh when you see it.

Looks matter little, sound quality is perfect according to my son. Sound bites shortly.

The board started:

I redid the heater wires after this photo.

On my clone 4x12 cab (see another of my threads):

My son testing (and setting bias) with his Gibson Studio with Bareknuckle 'Mule' humbuckers. He is sitting on the 2x12 cab I made:

Thats super cool! I've built some pedals and some mic pres from kits I've got my eye on a webber kit next.
I kinda like the tooled leather.

Hey - it's the COUNTRY marshal head.
Funny - but - if it sounds good play up to it!
To quote pete townsend:
"I won't get tooled again!"

I got shirty with Weber and they pointed out I could have clicked on the name and checked out the tolex pattern.
They have, however, changed the pattern name to 'boot leather'.
Still not a good enough name IMHO.
