Resistor lead bending tool

Whats the name of those little things that look like mini wrench racks?
Who sells them that also sells enclosures or other guitar parts? I am trying to cut all these shipping costs down.

I can't find them on tubesandmore, small bear, circuit specialists, or GGG.

Mouser must have gone way up in price because I was looking at Carling switches and they were also $20 each!! I won't support that kind of gouging.

Tools 'n things

Try Stewart MacDonald for guitar parts. Techni-Tool for the lead bender's and "tech tools" plus Digi-Key and Mouser Electronics may have everything your looking for also. Parts Express may also have some tools. Hope this helps!

Wow. A tool to bend resistor leads. I'll put that (pair of pliers) right beside my chip pin roller (the edge of a desk), my tube removal protection devices (clean cloves), my solder station thermal protection curtain (old music folder sitting under the soldering iron), and my all-purpose last resort repair tool (hammer).

:D

Huh!

You forgot to mention the DMM probe terminal extensions for small diameter female sockets (pieces of paper clip).

If I was doing lots of through-hole resistors I can see that terminal bender being a pretty cool thing, but I'd probably just make my own out a piece of scrap wood or plastic...cut a triangle and then measure the spans you want, mark and notch the edge. I'm mostly dealing with electrolytic caps as of late and have come up with a pretty good system using needle-nose pliers to bend the leads so the caps sit flush and stay put when I flip the PCB to burn them in...

I've always used cut off pieces of resistor leads, personally (because they are thinner and are already cut off anyway), but if paper clips do it for you, more power to you. :D
