DIY Vibrato (pitch not tremelo effect)

Hey, I've been wanting to do this for a long time. I'm wanting to build a vibrato effect for use with my guitar but I cannot find any circuit diagrams online. All I can find is the Hendrix univibe which is not at all what I'm looking for.

I don't want a phaser type effect or a tremelo effect, I'm wanting to build an effect which varies the pitch slowly. Clearly I'd want to be able to set my own depth and speed, but it has to have the ability of slow oscillations .

I don't mind messing about on the breadboard in order to slow down the vibrato effect, but I need something to start me off with!

Can any of you give me a hand? Cheers!
 
Thanks for that Blue, although it's not what I'm looking for - it's a change of pitch type effect I'm looking for - I might build that one in the future. Apparently the Motion Filter sounds a bit nuts, I'm all for different sounds etc so cheers!
