I may have mentioned that I picked up a breakout box and cable for a Digi 001 for dirt cheap at GC, then Kojdogg talked me out of selling it, and instead getting a PCI card to go with it for another $35, which I did, and now it's up and running on my son's computer, and, of course, I'm thinking about modding it even though we haven't really used it yet.
I notice that Black Lion Audio appears to have stopped modding this model, and that makes sense, because it looks like Digi Design has all but stopped supporting it with software, and so it would be foolish to spend a few hundred bucks on a sweet mod only to find out that no current OS will support it in a few months (assuming that might happen -- I'm not predicting that or anything
).
Anyway, I see on BLA's old page that they replaced the opamps with OPA4134s and so I'll put that on my todo list. They did a lot more than that to be sure, but the page is understandably non-specific. Anyone else work on one of these?
