you could try a superlux fk2 they are 40 bucks and are suposedly a pretty good kick mic

depending on your software you could get a plugin, there are some decent compressors for software i have even seen a few free ones that were pretty nice

yeah mic sounds like a good idea ;) , and if you are just using guitar and vocals i a preamp might be good but a good mic would make more of a difference

you could try doing a track with the at and then have the singer redo the track with the 57 and blending them as you see fit. it will give you more option and versatility as well as giving you the ability to thicken the vocal track up some and plus you can even decide which mic to use just by...

did you set the cakewalk to use the tascam in the audio properties and then specificly on the individual tracks ps- you might have better luck posting this in the cakewalk forum

you should be able to select where the cells lock into place somewhere cant remeber and im not sure at all how to change it to 3/4 its been a while since i used fl studio and i dont think i ever used it in 3/4(honestly i never knew it could be used in 3/4 with out loading in midi files that were...
