Sounded good. Only criticism is I'd like to hear more of a beat and I'd like the vocals to be dirtier. I think with more growl the vocal would sound better.

I think it sounds good compared to the 2nd recording you just posted. Sounds more warm I guess, but I'm not really a great to take advice from on vocals.

It sounds good, but I really don't have anything to compare it to. It sounds like you didn't add any reverb on it, so it sounds a little strange, but sounds fine. To really give a fair judgement we kind of need something to compare it to.

I'm hearing it on the right. I'd cut down on the distortion for the guitars. Too much distortion makes guitar recordings sound smaller generally. They get bigger up to a certain point and then they end up sounding smaller for some reason. I find using less distortion than you think you need...

I think it is the bass drum. Cut the mid range out of the bass drum and lower the volume. Do you have a bass on the song? You might try changing the synth sound to something less in your face.

I agree with your opinion. The drums are weak and the the guitars aren't powerful enough. Do they have reverb on them or something. They sound far back in the mix and don't have much punch. The vocal on the other hand stands out a lot, but I think that has to do more with the drums and guitars...

To be honest I don't here much difference between the remix and the old one. Did you take out a few vocal parts and boost the lead vocal? The song itself sounds good, but the synth guitar/harpsicord thing is really bothering me. Maybe other people wouldn't notice though.
