    Footstomping acoustic number

Sounded good. Only criticism is I'd like to hear more of a beat and I'd like the vocals to be dirtier. I think with more growl the vocal would sound better.

Gyraf G7, does it sound good?

I think it sounds good compared to the 2nd recording you just posted. Sounds more warm I guess, but I'm not really a great to take advice from on vocals.

Gyraf G7, does it sound good?

It sounds good, but I really don't have anything to compare it to. It sounds like you didn't add any reverb on it, so it sounds a little strange, but sounds fine. To really give a fair judgement we kind of need something to compare it to.

    Amateur Dramatics

Have you tried doubling the guitar track? The tone doesn't sound bad on the rhythm parts, but it sounds kind of thin. Try recording another track and then panning the 2 tracks to opposite sides. You could go even farther and play the part 4 times and have 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Make...

Hip Hop/ Reggae Song. Need feedback on vocals and mix!!!!!

I thought the 2nd verse sounded better, but the 1st didn't sound bad. I liked both. The vocal didn't sound bad, but it's a little buried in the mix. The keys are dominating your track. The drums need to come up and they need more punch. I don't hear any bass drum and the snare is weak. The song...

Company - I just need 62 seconds of your time

I'm hearing it on the right. I'd cut down on the distortion for the guitars. Too much distortion makes guitar recordings sound smaller generally. They get bigger up to a certain point and then they end up sounding smaller for some reason. I find using less distortion than you think you need...

This Sinking Feeling (got your name on it)

It's nice and relaxing. Sounds pretty good to me. The only thing I would say is that it's a little repetitive in places and I'd like to hear the lead guitar sound a little bigger. Maybe some stereo delay or a stereo reverb with a short length. Overall it sounds good though, like a 60's rock...

    Insturmental metal

Thanks for the comments. Like I said before I can't tweak the drums to the degree I'd like, so there isn't much more I can do to them. I'll try to bring down the rhythm guitars and I already have a synth pad on the track, but I put it really low. I'll try to bring it up. I think I'm almost done...

this song is giving me a headache

I think it is the bass drum. Cut the mid range out of the bass drum and lower the volume. Do you have a bass on the song? You might try changing the synth sound to something less in your face.

Company - I just need 62 seconds of your time

The drums and vocals sound fine to me. Whatever is on the side is distorted and sounds strange. It sounds like a broken speaker or something. I can't tell if it's a guitar or a synth, but I'd either cut it or try to fix it. I agree with robgreen about the about needed more people commenting. I...

Hip Hop/ Reggae Song. Need feedback on vocals and mix!!!!!

You're attached song doesn't work. It looks like a pic file. Try soundcloud or soundclick.

    Hard Rock/Grunge song mix.

I agree with your opinion. The drums are weak and the the guitars aren't powerful enough. Do they have reverb on them or something. They sound far back in the mix and don't have much punch. The vocal on the other hand stands out a lot, but I think that has to do more with the drums and guitars...

    South of the border Remix

To be honest I don't here much difference between the remix and the old one. Did you take out a few vocal parts and boost the lead vocal? The song itself sounds good, but the synth guitar/harpsicord thing is really bothering me. Maybe other people wouldn't notice though.

Bump. Does the latest mix sound any better?

    Rock instrumental (70's) - Leslie's Back - Phenomena

The sound is nice. It does have an old 70s vibe to it, which is cool. The song itself is cool too, but it seems like it's missing something. I'd like to hear another guitar track or keyboard. As is it sounds like a 70s live show, and there's no problem with that, but it just seems like there is...

    Insturmental metal

I remixed it a bit. Like I said before I can't do as much eq on this song as I'd like, but I did boost and cut some things. I boosted the bass drum and snare and the rhythm gts have been cut a bit. It sounds much punchier now than before. After I uploaded it to soundcloud it seems to have made...

    Insturmental metal

Here is a song I wrote a while ago. I don't really write metal often, but I was in the mood one day and wrote this. I wanted to write something that would sound like a fight scene in an anime. I think my recording skills have improved in the last year or so since I recorded this, but I still...

I need some fresh ears dawgs! Help a brotha out :D

It does sound better. The guitar fizz is still bothering me, but the drums sound better. The vocal is getting a little buried in the mix, but it still sounds better than before. IMO you're on the right track and you got rid of some of the muddiness from before. When you have so many instruments...
