Either of those two mics will work for you and are budget mics.
So go with the one that has a shock-mount.
The Fast Track Ultra is an excellent piece of gear and has its own preamps.
Ignore the SM57.

Get yourself a really nice tube mic and you'll see why.
There are really nice condensers, ribbons, tubes, dynamics and hybrids thereof.
Limit yourself to one if that's what you like.
